얼마전 탈북여성이 남한에서 결혼하고 사는 이야를 신문에서 보았습니다

 

많은 분들이 아는 것처럼 북한은 어려운 환경에 있는 사람이 많다고 합니다

 

물론 이야기의 탈북 여성도 그런 어려운 생활을 했다고 합니다

 

전기가 없어서 등잔불로 책을 보다가 전기불이 들어오면 너무나 기뻐 했다고 합니다

 

사실 현대의 생활에서 전기가 없다는 일은 상상할수 도 없을 것입니다

 

그러나 북한은 그렇지 않은 거 같습니다

 

전기뿐 아니라 기본적인 물자도 항상 부족하다고 합니다

 

탈북자들의 눈에는 남한 사람들의 낭비가 많이 보인다고 합니다

 

음식물의 예를 보아도 북한사람들은 음식을 버릴 떼도 항상 조심스럽다고 하는데 남한에서는 음식을 자주 버린다고 하기 한답니다

 

어떤 탈북여성은 남한의 남성과 결혼까지 했는데 구두보다는 운동화를 질겨 신고 어지간한 거리는 차를 타지 않고 걸어다닌다고 하네요

 

남자는 운동삼아 그런줄 알았는데  돈을 아끼기 위해서라고 했다고 합니다

 

북한에서 넘어온 분들은 절약정신이 몸에 배어 있는거 같습니다

 

물론 남한 사람들도 아끼고 절약하는 분들이 많이 있습니다

 

저의 어릴적 할아버지, 할머니, 그리고 저희 아버지, 어머니도 절약에 있어서는 항상 잔소리를 하셨던 기억이 남니다

 

그때는 한귀로 듣고 한귀로 흘리고 했는데 문득 신문을 보다 보니 부모님 생각도 나면서 자신을 잠깐 돌아보게 되었습니다

 

사실 아끼려면 아낄 수 있는것이 주변에 많이 있습니다

 

다만 실천을 하지 않았던 거 같습니다

 

이글을 보시는 분들 중에는 많이 부유하셔서 난 그런거 몰라 하시는 분들도 계시겠지요.

 

하지만 우리와 멀지 않은 곳에 너무나 어렵고힘들게 지내는 사람들도 많이 있을 것입니다

 

탈북자들이 문화적 혜택을 받지 못한 것도 사실이고 우리보다 어렵게 살아오신 분들이 많지만 그 것은 그 환경일 뿐입니다

 

절약하는 모습, 아끼고 소중히 하려는 마음은 본 받아야 하지 않을까요?

 

몇가지 생각나는대로 앞으로 절약 할 것 메모해 봅니다

 

1. 콘센트 전원 뽑기 / 버튼 달린 콘센트 사용하기

2. 밥통의 보온 기능은 가능하면 사용않하기(밥을 얼려 놓았다 전자렌지에 데워 먹는것이 밥도 더 맛있다고 하네요)

3. 수도물이 꼭 잡겼는지 확인하기

4. 가까운거리는 걸어서 다니기

5. 신용카드 사용않하기(체크카드 사용하기)

6. 가계부쓰기.

7. 계획적인 지출 생각해 놓기

8. 전등끄기

9. 겨울에는 보일러온도 1도 내리기

 

더 있을거 같은데 여기까지만 메모해 봅니다.
